  • We ordered different tapas. We loved the mozarabes potatoes. Really nice sweet taste. Juan Jesus served us excellent. At first we ordered also a salad but he explained that the salad was big and recommended us to skip that as a tapas, because of all the others we ordered already. We really loved that because all the other food was indeed enough. There is also really Spanish music. We would really come again at this place.

  • Our hotel's welcome pack included a list of recommended local eateries and this was conspicuously near the top. It also came with the added endorsement of the front desk staff. Situated in the warren of alleys surrounding the Cordoba mosque, this pretty little establishment is an inviting sanctuary from the busy and crowded streets outside. The centerpiece of the restaurant is an attractive open air courtyard around which were a few high tables generously spaced apart. The menu is accessed via mobile phone and proved easy to navigate. The waiters all spoke some English and were also quite helpful with suggestions and explanations. We tried the uniquely Cordoban dish called 'Special Flamenquin Cordobes' which comprised a layered roll of Serrano ham with pork loin that was covered with a breaded batter and deep fried and then served with some coarse cut potatoes, salad and salmorejo. You just can't go wrong with anything that is both crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect! The other dish was the 'Mozarabic Lamb Timpani', exotically spiced cooked lamb cubes on a bed of couscous and topped with both almonds and walnuts. Attractive to look at and tasty to boot! All this washed down liberally with several glasses of refreshing cream sherry on the rocks  and a slice of orange!

  • Sometimes live music. Interior courtyard terrace. Good food Flamenquín is a traditional dish from Córdoba consisting of thin slices of meat—usually pork loin—layered with jamon, then rolled up, coated in breadcrumbs, and deep-fried until crispy. The name may come from Flemish soldiers in 16th-century Spain, whose fair hair resembled the golden color of the fried dish. Another theory suggests that the way the meat is rolled resembles the sleeves of Flemish clothing.

  • I have to give 5 stars review because I am super satisfied with everything here, the service is a top notch! The food was really good The olive tapas was the best olives I‘ve ever had my whole life.. I ordered the sea bream as it is the only menu with rice, I was so in the mood for rice, and it was satisfying, I am satisfied and happy with everything!
